On this back to basics workshop led by Kit Martin, you will construct your own cardboard camera then take photographs with it, in the beautiful rural setting of Dalmore Croft.
We all spend so much time staring at screens and consuming digital images. For this workshop we will be slowing right down, beginning with making our own cameras. We will learn about the basics of pinhole photography followed by the magical chemical process of developing black and white prints in a pop-up darkroom.
No experience is necessary. All materials provided, but if you have a cardboard whisky tube box with lid, bring it! These make good cameras too. We will be working outdoors for some of the time.
You will have some unique photographs to take home at the end of the day.
£55 per adult, £70 per adult and child (12-15 years old). Price includes all materials, lunch and refreshments. This is a full-day course, running between 10:00am and 5:00pm
