Blue_Print for children aged 7-12. £5.
Using the sun to expose prints. Kit will introduce you to printing cyanotypes in the sun using natural materials, without a camera. Don't worry it will still work if it's cloudy! It will just take a wee bit longer.
Sunprints or Cyanotypes are an old photographic technique dating from 1842 that produces a prussian blue and white print and involves placing objects onto photo-sensitive paper, which will be provided.
We will use feathers, leaves and bits of fishing net and perhaps even seaweed to make our prints.
